Mary Beth Morrisseau
As a Safety Consultant at GMSC, Mary Beth started her career in manufacturing as an apprentice for General Electric. At GE she trained and worked in every area of manufacturing from Machining to Quality Assurance. From there she received her bachelor’s degree and became a certified life and business coach. For the past 12 years she has had roles in Safety and Human Resources for both small and large manufacturing companies. Mary Beth has completed the Ergonomic Certification course from Roy Matheson & Associates. She has taught numerous trainings on lifting and ergonomics as well as completed many ergonomic assessments. Mary Beth’s knowledge of manufacturing in conjunction with her education in safety, HR and coaching brings a complete package for general industry & office environments.

As a Safety Consultant at GMSC, Larry Newton began his career as a Safety Director at New England Air Systems Inc. in Williston, Vermont. He developed safety policies, procedures and training programs for over 6 years at New England Air Systems. In 2002, Larry became the Plant Manager of Peckham Materials Inc. in Colchester, Vermont where he managed daily operations, maintenance and repair of plant equipment, while supervising and training employees. He has valuable hands-on experience in welding, fabricating, rebuilding and plumbing. In 2008, Larry became the VOSHA Safety Compliance Officer for the Vermont Dept. of Labor & Industry. His responsibilities included enforcing VOSHA laws and regulations, and conducting work place fatality and accident investigations. Larry’s unsurpassed knowledge in controlling occupational and environmental hazards makes him a valuable addition to the GMSC team.

Jodi Doyle began his career as an Electrician in 1994 working his way through the program to become a Vermont Licensed Master Electrician. In 1999 Jodi was given the opportunity to work as a contractor with the IBM Essex Junction Health and Safety Department which is where he was introduced to the NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace. That contracted position became full time with IBM in 2000 where he was educated in Contractor Safety, Fall Protection, Powered Industrial Vehicles, Hoisting and Rigging, Industrial Hygiene with a focus on Ionizing and Non-Ionizing radiation safety, and Electrical Safety. This work was focusing on program and process development for IBM employees and the Contractor workforce in both General and Construction industry OSHA compliance. This Safety knowledge traveled with Jodi to a small manufacturing facility and then to Keurig where he continued his efforts developing Electrical Safety Programs and Training. Electrical Safety has been a huge part of Jodi’s career and continues to be a passionate and important subject. When Jodi is not working, he spends his evenings teaching for the Vermont State Electrical Apprenticeship as a year 1 Instructor. Jodi also works with VTC and the Center for Technology in Essex in Maintenance Technician Certification programs and Journeyman “S” License test prep.
